I have a PhD in Political Science from the LSE. My work examines how financial markets drive state and business behavior in global infrastructure development. I am particularly interested in the social, environmental and fiscal implications of changes to the development finance landscape and the local, national and international politics that enable this.
Having conducted over 15 months of Fulbright-funded research in Lao PDR on rising forms of alternative development finance for my doctorate, I now lead research on mapping infrastructure finance in Myanmar and Ghana as part of the UKRI/GCRF FutureDAMS research consortia.
